Members Sign Partnership Agreement

June 2007: At the 52nd ESU Board Meeting in London the Student Union of Serbia (SUS) and the National Union of Students’ Representatives of Lithuania (LSAS), singed a bilateral agreement, in the hope that joining forces will allow them to work better.

They look forward to exchanging professional experiences, relevant information and good practices in the field of student representation, student participation in Higher education processes, Higher Education systems, students’ social status, and other important student issues.

The common objectives are: Work on the  exchange of professional experience, work on the improvement of student representation on both the national and the international level and work on the exchange of information related to Lithuanian and Serbian Higher education systems.

The first common goal of the bilateral partners is the joint support of the student movement in Belarus and their struggle for a democratic university. The name of this project is “Trainings 4 Students’ Liberation” (with the trainings due to start soon) so that Belarusian students can hope for a better and more democratic university and Higher education.
