ESU Elections 2019: Call Open

The Executive Committee of the European Students’ Union (ESU) is opening the call for candidates for the next mandate 2019-2020 (01/07/2019 – 30/06/2020): namely President, two Vice-Presidents and seven members of the Executive Committee of ESU (click on each position to read the full documents to apply).

In addition, the EC of ESU is issuing a call for an election of one member of the Commission for Internal Audit (CIA). The mandate of the elected person will be obtained for 3 years, from 1st of July 2019 until 30th of June 2022. Since persons of different genders currently hold the two other positions, the gender of the applicant does not matter at that moment.

The elections will be held during ESU’s 76th Board meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, between 9-11 May 2019.

Applications must be submitted in writing to the ESU secretariat. Therefore, candidates shall send their full application by e-mail to secretariat@esu-online.org or hand it personally to the ESU Secretariat (Rue de l’Industrie 10, 1000 Brussels). The deadline for submitting applications is 29th of March 2019, 23:59 CET.

All application documents will be shared with all members of the Board through Google Drive. ESU will remove such documents from the drive once the election process is over. However, ESU has no control over the transfer of such information once it leaves ESU’s domains.

According to point 8.10 of the Standing Orders candidates are required to send:

❏ Nomination Letter from a full member organisation (see Full Member Directory)
❏ Curriculum Vitae, in Europass format
❏ Motivation Letter
