The main objective of the DASCHE (“Developing, Assessing and Validating Social Competences in Higher Education”) project is to support policy learning between countries and higher education institutions in curricula development, assessment and validation of social competences. The purpose of DASCHE is to provide a better understanding of the social competences, but also to gather and develop tools for formulating and assessing these competencies within HE programmes and identify good practices.
DASCHE is conducted by a partnership of 6 research institutions: SGH – Warsaw School of Economics (PL), The Institute Technic and Education of the University of Bremen (GER), Academic Information Centre – AIC (Latvia), Centre for Higher Education Studies (Cz), Durham University (UK), Twente University – CHEPS (NL). Additionally, ten associated partners play an outstanding role in the dissemination and making use of the project results. Amongst them, the European Students Union is particularly important. One of the panels of the DASCHE final conference “What kind of social competences do we need?” is delivered with students’ participation and moderated by a representative of students’ organization.
The final international conference of the project takes place in Warsaw on 28 February 2020:
