Urša Leban

Urša Leban is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Students’ Union currently holding her second mandate.

She is coming from Slovenia, where she has been involved in the student movement, firstly on a local level working for the local student club in the municipality of Tolmin, later working as Head of International Board at Slovenian association of local student clubs (Zveza ŠKIS) and as a member of the Board for International relations at the Slovenian student union (ŠOS). As her academic background is in psychology, she has been using her knowledge in this field as a youth trainer, working with various student and youth groups.

As an Executive Committee member, her work is focused on the area of Social dimension being her main areas:

  • Working group on Mental Health in Higher Education and the Student Movement
  • Mental health Charter 
  • Accessibility of Higher education
  • Recognition procedures in Higher education (within the BFUG peer support group)
