A new project on the peer assessment of student centred learning 

BRUSSELS - The European Students Union (ESU) applied to the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union for financial support for two projects; Peer Assessment of Student Centred Learning in Higher Education in Europe - PASCL - and Peer Evaluation of Gender Integration at Institutional Level in Higher Education - GenWatch. ESU is looking for a Financial Officer

BRUSSELS - The European Students' Union (ESU) is looking for a team player to fill the position of a Financial Officer (FO) at its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The Financial Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services in order to meet internal and legal requirements. ESU issues a statement on the rights of Syrian students 

BRUSSELS - Syrian students have the right to pursue their higher education, to study in a safe environment where their rights are respected under any circumstances, and to be represented by student unions in a fair way. A statement issued by the European Students' Union (ESU) yesterday underlines the importance of protecting Syrian students from persecution and harm, as many have been forced to flee their country or end abruptly their studies. Luxembourgish court case could put grant systems at risk 

LUXEMBOURG - The European Students' Union (ESU) believes that a ruling made by the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) on 20 June 2013 on the access of children of frontier workers to student support in Luxembourg is highly controversial. ESU is especially concerned about the commitments of state aid beneficiaries to a particular labour market and the possible introduction of student loan schemes in relation to the judgment. ESU close to the finishing line in SAGE research

BRUSSELS - The European Students' Union (ESU) has since 2011 been running one of the biggest researches on the employability of graduates. The research team has now almost finished collecting all the data that is needed for the project. Once that data has been analysed, the results will be published in a book where different aspects and understandings of the employability concept will be examined from students' point of view.
