ESU & OBESSU Joint Call for student-led projects on migrant and refugee education

The European Students’ Union and OBESSU are running respectively Together, Moving Forward and Seeds for Integration,  two small-grants programmes focusing on refugee and migrant education. In 2018 and 2019, we are cooperating and joining forces and have launched a Joint Call for initiatives developed jointly by school and university students.

The objectives of the Together, Moving Forward and Seeds for Integration joint call are to:

  • support and empower refugee and migrant students run their initiatives
  • facilitate refugees’ and migrants’ access to secondary and tertiary education as well as the transition between the two
  • raise awareness to the issues refugee and migrant students encounter studying at schools and universities and to advocate for concrete change
  • create synergies between school and university students in advocacy and campaigning
  • build long-lasting links between refugee and migrant communities and school and university communities
  • establish partnerships with different stakeholders active on refugee and migrant education issues
  • reshape public discourse around refugees and migrants and confront hate speech in our societies

Students and school students can develop joint projects and ask up to 10,000 EUR to run them. Read the Call for Applications to know more and get ready to submit your Application Form
